Domaine Matrot - Meursault 1er Cru 'Perrieres' - 2022

The 2022 Meursault Les Perrières 1er Cru really gets to grips with the terroir on the nose, delivering that crushed stone element that distinguishes this Premier Cru. Very focused and yet quite discrete. The medium-bodied palate has wonderful acidity and concentration. It is completely harmonious, unfurling with each swirl of the glass. The finish is one of the most persistent Meursault I tasted during my visit. This is a stunning Les Perrières that I confess I didn't want to spit out during my visit.
