The 2023 Vosne-Romanée En Orveaux 1er Cru is very fragrant on the nose, showing a little more intensity than the Aux Reignots, with superbly delineated dark berry fruit, forest floor and light truffle scents. The palate is medium-bodied with quite an assertive entry, and the tannins exert fine grip. This is very well balanced with excellent weight on the mid-palate, but there is a sense of restraint on the finish. Excellent. 94-96 Points Neal Martin, VINOUS.COM
