The 2023 Lösnicher Försterlay Riesling –GG– is from a vineyard adjacent to the Erdener Treppchen and based on blue and gray slate soils with quartzite. Bottled with less than one gram per liter of residual sugar, this is an intense, clear and precise, savory and elegant, very finessed Riesling with crunchy slate grip and the vitality and nervousness of the quartzite.
