Dunville’s 14 Year Old Palo Cortado Single Cask #1753 is a cask strength Irish single malt matured for 14 years and finished in rare Palo Cortado sherry casks. Bottled exclusively for The Whisky Club, this single cask release represents the final parcels of the liquid that previously won Small Batch Irish Single Malt at the World Whiskies Awards, presented without chill filtration or added colour.
Tasting Notes
Colour: Copper
Nose: Juicy raisins and dates with soft gunpowder tea and raspberry coulis.
Palate: Dried apple and pear, seared almond croissant and honey.
Finish: Dark cocoa and mint leaf.
About the Distillery
Dunville’s Irish Whiskey was established in 1808 in Belfast and became one of Ireland’s most significant whiskey producers before closing in 1936. Revived in 2012 by The Echlinville Distillery, the brand has returned to prominence with a focus on high-quality single malt releases, continuing its historic legacy.
