Iconic Barossa Shiraz with blackberry, dark chocolate, plum, spice and a long velvety finish.
About The Wine
Grant Burge Meshach Shiraz 2014 is a flagship Barossa Valley Shiraz made from carefully selected old vine fruit. Rich, concentrated and deeply layered, it shows the power and polish that have made Meshach one of Australia’s most recognised premium Shiraz releases.
The 2014 vintage brings together ripe black fruit, chocolate, spice and savoury oak complexity, with a full bodied palate and firm but beautifully integrated tannins. With more than a decade of bottle age, it is entering a very appealing stage while still holding the depth and structure to continue developing.

About the Winery / Producer / Region
Grant Burge is one of the long standing names of the Barossa Valley, with family roots in the region stretching back generations. Meshach is the estate’s flagship Shiraz and is named in honour of Grant Burge’s great grandfather, Meshach Burge, an important figure in the family’s Barossa story.
Meshach is made only from selected parcels of old vine Shiraz and is built in a classic Barossa style: powerful, deeply fruited, structured and long lived. It remains one of the benchmark collector Shiraz releases from the region.
Cellaring Potential
Drinking beautifully now with bottle age, but still capable of further development under good cellaring conditions. It should continue to evolve with added savoury, leather and spice complexity over the next decade.
Collector’s Note
A highly relevant collector release, Meshach is Grant Burge’s flagship Shiraz and one of the Barossa’s recognised cellar worthy labels. The 2014 vintage is a mature release with strong appeal for those looking for premium Barossa Shiraz with bottle age.
