Blackish ruby. A little fragile on the nose but beguiling. Salty and complex. Like floral, diluted treacle – rather delicious! But a weaker than average vintage. A mouthfilling and luscious wine, with wonderfully rich licorice and dark chocolate fruit, supported by an echo of vanillin oak.
