Henschke Hill of Grace Shiraz 2010 is a legendary single-vineyard Australian Shiraz from the historic pre-phylloxera vines of Eden Valley, widely regarded as one of the greatest expressions of this site. In the glass it shows deep crimson with violet hues and an intensely complex bouquet — blackberries, dark plums, cassis and kirsch layered with exotic spices, cracked black pepper, sage, star anise, potpourri and subtle earth-savory notes — all framed by fine cedar and oak nuances. The palate is medium-to-full-bodied yet refined, with concentrated dark fruit, vibrant acidity and polished, finely-grained tannins that build steadily into a long, profound finish of spice, leather, mocha and mineral undertones, offering both remarkable depth and superb ageing potential.
