About The Wine  Henschke The Wheelwright Shiraz 2022 is a premium singlevineyard Eden Valley Shiraz, presented in a gift box. It is drawn from The Wheelwright Vineyard, planted in 1968 by Cyril Henschke, and shows a beautifully lifted, aromatic side of Henschke Shiraz. The 2022 release is vibrant, detailed and finely structured, with red plum, raspberry, pomegranate, blue fruits, spice, violets, rosemary, liquorice and graphite like mineral detail. It has the depth expected from Henschke, but with a graceful, medium bodied feel and beautifully polished tannins. Tasting Notes Aroma: Red plum, raspberry, pomegranate, violets, rosemary, liquorice, pink peppercorn, graphite and subtle oak spice. Palate: Juicy and elegant, with red and blue fruits, savoury spice, fine acidity, cocoa-dusted tannins and a silky, layered texture. Finish: Long, bright and refined, with lingering berry fruit, spice, graphite, herbs and fine Eden Valley tannin.
