A big climate of 30 hectares – the domaine has two parcels here. ‘It’s very poor soil, so if you have a big yield, the maturity will ‘block.’ Hard limestone here. Lots of volume – some florals. In the mouth, a wine of concentration that melts beautifully over the palate. Stony, large-scale finishing flavour, with a small textural cushion. Holding, holding… Oh – and it’s completely delicious… Bill Nansen, Burgundy Report
