The grapes from the first barrel sampled have been purchased from Jessica’s aunt’s vineyard. aunts plot. Grapey and yeasty yet with depth. The generous sucrosity of the vintage is evident, leading to a lovely finish with enough acidity. Then we tried a barrel of domaine grapes from Les Pommards. Pale colour, not clear, more backward, cooler fresher white fruit, but the qualitative difference is minimal. They are likely to be blended into one wine, but the decision has not been taken yet. 89-91 Points Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy
