From Romsey in Macedon Ranges. Wonderful here. Perfume of exotic spice, black pepper, dried cranberry, black cherry, new leather and alpine herbs. A kind of old school, deeply savoury scent. Sappy textured though quite expansive in the palate, more of the characters of the bouquet replicated in taste, with a distinct autumn leaf or dried herb or meaty-earthiness woven though. Fine tannins swish through and lend shape and freshness. Very good, very proper. 95 Points Mike Bennie, The Wine Front
