This is made from selected barrels of all the single-vineyard wines, from plantings ranging from 1972 to 1999. Altitude ranges from 500-1400 feet, and it’s 50% whole bunch. Sweet, supple and vibrant with cherry and raspberry fruit, with a bit of grip and hints of tar and spice under the sleek fruit. There’s a combination of elegance and spicy grip, and there’s also a bit of dissolved carbon dioxide that gives an impression of freshness. On the second day this has settled down nicely. 93 Points - Jamie Goode, Wine Anorak
