A slightly riper and though not really overtly exotic nose features notes of white peach, passion fruit, honeysuckle, citrus confit and tidal pool character. There is a lovely contrast between the richness of the medium-bodied flavors and the underlying tension, all wrapped in a seductively textured, sappy, very dry and impressively persistent finish. This should easily be capable of repaying up to a decade of keeping. 92 Points, Outstanding Allen Meadows, Burghound
