Rich Coonawarra Shiraz with cherry, blackberry, plum, cedar and a long spice laced finish.
About The Wine
Majella Coonawarra Shiraz 2020 is a concentrated, full flavoured red that shows the depth and structure Coonawarra Shiraz can deliver so well. The 2020 vintage combines ripe dark fruit, sweet spice and polished oak, with a rich palate built around blackberry, plum and blueberry fruit. Eighteen months in French and American oak adds extra shape and savoury detail, while the overall feel remains plush, balanced and distinctly regional.

About the Winery / Producer / Region
Majella is a family owned winery based in Coonawarra, with the Lynn family connected to the Penola Coonawarra district for five generations. The Majella Shiraz first appeared in 1991 and has built a reputation as one of the winery’s key red releases. Coonawarra’s cool nights and long ripening season help shape the wine’s combination of concentration, freshness and fine tannin structure.
Cellaring Potential
This wine has strong medium term cellaring potential and is expected to drink well over around 8 to 10 years under good conditions.
