Mayer - Cabernet Sauvignon - 2024

Cabernet from a north-facing slope on Hans and Anna Orth's vineyard in Coldstream. 100% whole bunches, matured in hogsheads (20% new). A medium, bright crimson. Ultra cool fruited and fragrant. Aromas of just-picked cherries and blackcurrant leaf together with a hint of cedar lead onto the medium-bodied, approachable, generous and quite delicious palate. Like pretty much all of Timo's wines, this is ready to enjoy from the get-go but will still be looking good in the medium term. 95 Points Philip Rich, Halliday Wine Companion
