Mayer - Syrah - 2025

2025 vintage not yet reviewed, 2024 vintage review below: Estate-grown fruit, 100% whole bunches and matured in seasoned hogsheads. A very bright crimson purple. A little less pepper in this warmer year, but no less complex. Very floral and spicy with aromas of dark fruits, licorice root, graphite and pink peppercorns. Medium bodied, the balance between the fruit, gently chewy tannins and bright acidity is nigh on perfect.
