Experience the finesse and power of one of Australia’s most esteemed Cabernets with Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon 2019, a benchmark wine from the heart of Margaret River. Meticulously crafted by the Mugford family, this flagship release continues Moss Wood’s legacy for producing structured, elegant Cabernets with incredible cellaring potential and aromatic complexity.
The 2019 vintage was shaped by a long, cool ripening season, resulting in outstanding fruit quality and tannin ripeness. Hand-picked, open-fermented, and aged in French oak, this wine is a harmonious blend of richness, restraint, and regional expression. A must-have for collectors and lovers of fine Australian Cabernet.
Halliday Wine Companion - 97 Points
This is a masterclass in refinement. It is svelte and streamlined, the cool, mineral spool of flavour across the tongue is what the 2019 vintage can look like at its most restrained and harnessed. The length of flavour basically flutters out over the finish, so weightless and enduring. The 2018 that came before it had a thundering, legendary quality - legs widespread, hands on hips, power pose. This is the creative in the family, the quiet guy. It's intriguing and intelligent and thoughtful ... poignantly red fruited, spicy and super-supple. I'm descending into hyperbole. It's unnecessary. This is another great Moss Wood release.
