Nanny Goat Super Nanny Pinot Noir is made from a careful selection of the finest grapes from two sub-regions in Central Otago: 63% Pisa and 37% Queensberry. It boasts a beautiful balance between rich, seductive plum fruit and delicate, ethereal floral aromas. The palate is a complex layering of wild berry flavours, dark chocolate, and a subtle minerality, with a lively acidity and fine tannins on the finish. The fruit is hand-harvested and fermented naturally, with extended maceration on the skins before maturing in 225L French Oak barrels (29% new) for 14 months. This wine is bottled without fining or filtration in order to showcase the unique characteristics of the vineyard.
