Nocturne - Sub-Regional Treeton Chardonnay - 2024

The 2024 SR Treeton Chardonnay is waxy and taut on the nose, with lemon oil, white peach, green apple and brine. In the mouth, it is both rich and piercing, with plush orchard fruit clustered on the middle palate, wrapped in firm tannins. The pliable structure is one of the defining features of great Margaret River Chardonnay, and there is plenty of it in the wines from the 2024 vintage. This looks great today, and despite some of the challenges that the hot, dry season may have thrown to winemaker Julian Langworthy, there is pleasingly no evidence of it in this glass. 94 Points Erin Larkin, The Wine Advocate
