Elegant, earthy, and cellar-worthy – Pennyweight Beechworth Pinot Noir 2019 is a refined expression of Victoria’s cool-climate terroir.
Crafted and aged for 22 months in French oak, this wine opens with complex aromas of cedar, wild mushrooms, vanilla, blackcurrant, and cherry. On the palate, it offers a harmonious array of ripe red fruits complemented by clove and nutmeg spice, wrapped in gentle fine-grained tannins and balanced acidity. Silky yet structured, it drinks beautifully now but will cellar well for up to 10 years.
Perfect pairings: mushroom risotto, roast pork, game meats, or aged cheese.
