Head Distiller Rohan McGowan’s slow fermentation and double distillation process results in a rich, fruity spirit with a malty base. Equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and an in-house cooperage, Pōkeno produces whisky matured in ex-Bourbon, Sherry, and local red wine casks, establishing itself as New Zealand’s largest whisky distillery.
