Renato Ratti Barolo Marcenasco DOCG 2019 is a beautifully polished expression of La Morra Barolo, combining perfume, finesse and structure in a style that is immediately appealing yet clearly built to develop further in bottle. About the Winery / Producer
Renato Ratti is one of the historic names of Barolo and played a major role in shaping the modern understanding of Barolo crus. The winery is based in La Morra, where Marcenasco has long stood as one of its signature sites. The Marcenasco label was created in 1965 and remains central to the estate’s identity, with the wine matured for around two years in large oak before extended bottle ageing.
Cellaring Potential
This is built for medium to long term cellaring and should reward patience beautifully. The 2019 vintage is already refined and harmonious, but it has the balance and tannin structure to develop further over many years under good conditions.
