It’s been pleasing to see the evolution of structure in this label over the years, and the 2020 edition delivers the drive, perfume and structure I now expect from this site. A heady, floral perfume of red cherries, blood plums, reveals a whiff of citrus oil ana mushroom. It’s long and fleshy, with a charmingly plump core of cherry/berry fruit that moves down a loose-knit spine towards a spicy finish of red licorice. Very reserved, but likely to build considerably over time.
