Classic old vine Chablis with citrus, wet stone, ripe orchard fruit and a long saline finish.
About The Wine
Seguinot Bordet Chablis Vieilles Vignes 2024 is a beautifully composed white Burgundy from old vines in Chablis, offering more depth and quiet power than a standard village bottling. The old vine fruit gives the wine added concentration and palate weight, while the region’s trademark freshness and mineral drive keep everything precise and elegant. This is a polished, serious Chablis with both immediate appeal and the structure to develop further in bottle.
Tasting Notes
Aroma: Fresh citrus, ripe orchard fruit and subtle mineral notes.
Palate: Crisp and finely textured, with ripe fruit concentration, lovely mid palate density and a sleek, elegant shape.
Finish: Long, dry and saline, with a chalky mineral line and excellent persistence.

About the Winery / Producer / Region
Domaine Seguinot Bordet is one of Chablis’ long established family producers, with roots dating back to the 1590s. The domaine is now led by Jean François Bordet and farms around 16 hectares, much of it on the right bank of the Serein River with south and south east exposure. The wines are fermented cool and matured on lees for around three to five months, helping build texture while preserving Chablis freshness and clarity.
Cellaring Potential
Drinking beautifully now for its freshness and mineral drive, with enough concentration and structure to reward a few years in the cellar. Burghound’s 2025 review of the 2024 noted that extra depth should come with some keeping.
Collector’s Note
Burghound rating the 2024 vintage 91 points and highlighting it as Outstanding Top Value.
