Established in 1851, Seppelt is one of Australia’s most historic wine producers, renowned for its pioneering role in crafting the uniquely Australian Sparkling Shiraz. Today, Seppelt continues to shape the landscape of cool-climate winemaking, producing expressive table wines from distinctive vineyards across the Grampians, Henty, and Heathcote regions. Among these, the Drumborg Vineyard in south-west Victoria stands apart. Planted in 1964 by Karl Seppelt, this isolated, cool-climate site in the Henty hinterland is celebrated for its purity, elegance, and resilience. The vineyard’s mature vines and maritime influence yield Pinot Noir of remarkable finesse—delicate yet structured, with vibrant fruit and a clear sense of place.
