This drop is “after-ripened” in plum liqueur barrels with highly fragrant malt whisky. A premium release for those who enjoy the Hibiki 12 Year Old as some of the whisky blended into it was aged in these umeshu casks. The nose has aromas of a divine malt whisky with notes of stone fruits. A decadent and sweet palate bursting with notes of Yamazki malt, roasted oak, and plum.
