Vergelegen Merlot Reserve 2019 is the estate’s flagship red from Stellenbosch. Crafted from select vineyard parcels and aged in French oak, it delivers depth, balance, and aging potential. The vintage expresses classic Merlot character with black cherry, plum and cassis, complemented by cocoa, vanilla and subtle tobacco. Polished tannins, balanced acidity, and a long finish make it versatile with grilled beef, lamb, venison, and aged cheeses. Decant 30–60 minutes before serving.
