Wantirna Estate - Hannah Cabernet Franc Merlot - 2023

A cabernet franc/merlot blend matured in one new French barrique for 11 months. A deep-ish dark cherry red. Discreet with aromas of black cherry, licorice, iodine and a little hedgerow. A touch more compact and firmly structured than the last couple of Hannahs; there's a gentle earthiness that carries through onto the well-balanced and persistent finish.
