Woodlawn - Three Wishes Vineyard Chardonnay - 2022

A mealy, engaging chardonnay made by Ricky Evans and sourced from the Three Wishes Vineyard on the eastern bank of the Tamar River. Juicy peach, grapefruit and lemon tones dusted with soft spice, oatmeal, chamomile, sea spray, white flowers and stone. Complex and expressive with a crème fraîche, nougat and meal sheen to its core of stone fruits. Minerally and nicely composed, the warmer site lending some richness to its form.
