The Yamazaki Distillery, founded in 1923 by Suntory's founder Shinjiro Torii, is Japan's first and oldest malt whisky distillery. Located at the foot of Mt. Tennozan, Torii chose this area for its excellent water source and ideal natural environment for crafting whisky. Yamazaki is a complex Japanese single malt with multi-layered fruit and Mizunara aromas. Made at the Yamazaki Distillery, it is highly praised by whisky connoisseurs worldwide. The House of Suntory honors its birthplace with this acclaimed blend, created by fifth generation Chief Blender Shinji Fukuyo. This whisky boasts a brilliant golden hue and a complex aroma of peach, pineapple, grapefruit, spicy clove, candied orange, and vanilla, with a hint of Mizunara. On the palate, it offers a rich blend of coconut, cranberry, and creamy butter, followed by a sweet, lingering finish of ginger and cinnamon.
