Fruit from original 1969 plantings. Destemmed, whole berries into 600kg fermenters with some stalks. Matured in French oak, 40% new, for 10 months. This is all about refinement, and in a way, it has a deceptive gentleness, as the flavours are subtle, the oak has meshed into the body of the wine and the silky tannins weave across the palate.
