Yeringberg Marsanne Roussanne 2023 is a beautifully composed Rhône inspired white that balances texture and freshness with understated complexity. Marsanne brings savoury weight and gentle phenolic grip, while Roussanne adds aromatic lift and shape. The result is refined, quietly powerful and distinctly Yeringberg in its restraint and precision. Unusually both varieties were picked on the same day, before being fermented and matured together. A deepish, bright green gold. Complex with aromas of pear, white nectarine, candied ginger and light floral scents. A little more restrained than the '22, this always gently textured wine finishes citrus pithy, chalky and long. Lovely. Philip Rich Tasting Notes Aroma: Pear skin, lemon rind and stone fruit with hints of white flowers, almond, chamomile and wet stone. Palate: Medium-bodied and layered, showing orchard fruit and citrus with a rounded mouthfeel, subtle savoury detail and fine structure. Finish: Long, dry and persistent with mineral drive and gentle spice. Serving Suggestions Serve at 10–12°C. A short decant or time in the glass will amplify texture and aromatic detail.
